Canteloupe to Watermelon by Phillip Krivenko

Cantaloupe to Watermelon - My wife Kathy was cutting up cantaloupe when I took a photo with my iphone. During the painting process, decided to make it a watermelon, better color and made some composition changes.

It's nice to be posting again to Daily Painters of Pa.

American Proud by Cecelia Lyden Acrylic ~ 16" x 18"
AMERICAN PROUD

When it comes to Red, White, and Blue, count me in. That color grouping means one thing to me--the American flag. I capture a display of American patriotism first with my camera and then with my paintbrush. "Open for Business" is in Gallery@Second; "American Proud" was sold; and "A Trip to Boone" is hanging in my red, white, and blue kitchen.
