Heirloom Veggies by Rebecca Jennings

Three of these veggies grew in my garden.... the tomato is a figment of my imagination :) The tomatoes in my garden are a Roma variey, but I have been hungry for a sandwich made from
these big ol' tomatoes!!
This 8" x 16" oil is painted on prepared natural luan with the background
left as is, a different exercise for me.

Echinacea's growing in my garden by Linda Young

There are also black eyed Susans in my garden which keeps pushing these pretty little echinacea flowers around every year.  Every year I've had them, they have found a new place to grow away from the "susans".  You'd think the susans would get the hint:  The Echinacea don't like to be near you, so leave them alone!

This painting was done initially for  Lela Stankovic's paint and draw together blogspot challenge.  However, I feel it, also,  meets the requirements of this challenge. It was done using a palette knife and acrylic paint with modelling compound. If you have any questions, or wish to purchase, contact PAT.
