Along the Fenceline

©Linda Young 2011
4 x 6" watercolor
An icy snowy morning awaits us in the days ahead; but I'm not looking forward to those cold days of Winter.  Depending what part of the country you come from, the Wooly worm either predicts a long cold winter (lots of black on it's body) or a mild one (lots of brown).  I think I'll just sit by the fire with my honey, my Westies and a nice glass of wine.  Cheers!

Fantastic entry into the challenge, Linda! We have gotten so much rain again in the past few days...I keep thinking what it would be like if it were *S*N*O*W* !!!
I found a wooly worm a week or so ago and it was ENTIRELY black...wonder what that means (I am afraid to ask...)

This is a cheerful, sunny painting; the kind of winter-looking day I like (as opposed to the gray ones that have their own beauty, I suppose, but certainly aren't as cheerful as this one!).

Oh boy, cheerful, and sunny words in the same sentence as "winter".
for me.....Hurry spring!
Thank you Dianne, I'm glad you liked it.
