Extreme Miniature Painting by Daily Painter of Pennsylvania Mary Beth Brath

Pennsylvania Creek - Near Clarion PA by Mary Beth Brath
1" x 1" Extreme Mini in Acrylic

What a great challenge. I used a magnifying glass, trimmed down an old brush, a dental tool and toothpick. I used a 6x6" painting that I did 2 years ago for the subject matter.

January 2013 - How Small can You Go by Rebecca Jennings (Sunny)

"Goldfinch and Bluebird"
1 1/4" each Oil on metal

My little grandson insisted on giving me these metal pins with a chevy emblem on them when I visited them in Texas last fall. I kept them and decided to re-purpose them at some point to put on my hat. Thanks to the DPP Challenge blog this month I found the perfect use for them!

JANUARY 2013 DPP CHALLENGE
How Small Can You Go?

How Small Can You Go?

Happy New Year, everyone!
It's a brand new year, and often people decide
that one of their New Year's resolutions
will be to reduce.
With that in mind, this month's DPP Challenge
is about creating the smallest
painting you can.

As always, be creative and have fun!
