Here is the 2011 Christmas ornament I painted. I started a bird series. This is the third in the series. All are numbered(Limited Edition), signed and dated. This year I hand painted 100. A wonderful work of art on a treasured ornament...love this!
I have to say that even though she is rather plain, I love the house wren - of course, there's also the brilliant male goldfinch, the adorable little junco and don't forget the beautiful ruby-throated hummingbird!
I adore chickadees. You captured this one perfectly. How about a nuthatch? They're fun to watch.
